Lead scrap

LEAD is a heavy metal which is steamed to give it a matt grey colour. It is flexible, non-elastic and can be easily smelted. It is not a good conductor of electricity, but it is resistant to radiation and corrosion.

Lead can form alloys with many metals, and is used in this way in the majority of its applications.

All the alloys of lead with metals like tin, copper, arsenic, antimony, bismuth, cadmium and sodium are important in industrial terms. The main alloys however are formed with tin and antimony.

LEAD can be found as:

Sanitary Lead – Antimony Lead – Cable Lead – Wheel Balancing Lead – Pb/Cu Granule – Pb/Alu Granule
