ZINC is a bluish white metal, which has similarities with magnesium and beryllium.
The most common alloys of zinc are with aluminium and copper, which improve the characteristics of zinc including its ability to be moulded. It is also a lesser component in various alloys, mainly with copper as brass (3% to 45% zinc), alpaca metal (Cu-Ni-Zn) and bronze (Cu-Sn) for moulding
We can find ZINC as:
Score – Zinc Dross – Old Die Cast – New Die Cast – Die Cast Dross – Ashes
Zamak is an alloy of zinc with aluminium, magnesium and copper. It is a cheap and tough material, resistant to traction, having good mechanical resistance and the ability to change shape, and good filtering properties.
